Beast of Reincarnation Weapons — All Swords & Locations

Updated August 7, 2026 · Facts cross-checked against the sources listed below

Weapons split into four classes — swords, ranged (bows & crossbows), arrows and bolts, roughly 40+ items total. There are 20 swords; the early standouts are the story-given Cirrus Sword and the merchant-sold Purity and Bell Sword.

The Four Weapon Classes

  • Swords — Emma’s melee core, 20 in total.
  • Ranged — bows and crossbows for blight application and pulls.
  • Arrows & Bolts — ammo types with their own slots and effects.

Four acquisition routes: story progression, the Merchant Golem, world pickups, and location hints from Keeper Golems.

Ranged Weapons: Bows, Crossbows and Ammo Manuals

Good news if you’ve been hunting for bow locations: bows and crossbows are story rewards — the bow unlocks after the “The Foreman” main quest and the rest arrive on the critical path, so nothing to miss. What you do collect are the 12 ammo manuals that unlock elemental arrows and bolts:

ManualWhere to Get It
Poison ArrowsGreat Wall Terraces — platform corner west of Flower Field Tower camp
Acid ArrowsOgouchi — Wandering Merchant at Subcity 03
Fire ArrowsOgouchi — building south of Cliffside Village: Interior
Lightning ArrowsAncient Civilization Zone — Ancient Golem merchant south of Raging River camp
Explosive ArrowsFuji Frontier Zone — north off the pipeline path, near the peaceful Golem
Poison BoltsGreat Wall Terraces — Wandering Merchant south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront
Acid BoltsOgouchi — building behind the Elite Golem above Quarry Interior camp
Fire BoltsOgouchi — Wandering Merchant at Subcity 03
Lightning BoltsGiant Tree Zone — lower fortress east of Cableway Line 2: Terminal Stop
Explosive BoltsGreat Wall Terraces — Wandering Merchant south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront

(Basic arrows come with the bow; basic bolts are owned from the start.) Collecting all 12 manuals earns the Manual Maniac trophy; fully upgrading both ranged weapons earns Munitions Master. Elemental ammo is also the backbone of the endgame element builds in our build guide. Note that weapon upgrades are gated by your Cleanse Walker’s own level, so upgrade the Walker first when the workbench refuses.

Weapons and Your Build

Sword choice layers onto the parry loop rather than replacing it: Bell Sword accelerates executions, Purity sustains aggressive play, and Cirrus is the safe all-rounder because its buff also scales Koo. Pair them with the attribute route in the best build guide — and remember weapons, unlike attributes, never need a respec.
