Beast of Reincarnation Amber Farming — Best Methods

Updated August 7, 2026 · Facts cross-checked against the sources listed below

The reliable route is strongboxes Koo sniffs out, backed by the two tower chests (1,500 Amber in Chapter 1, 1,700 in Chapter 3) and selling Ancient Books and Golden Eggs, which exist only to be sold. Killing enemies is the worst method. Budget roughly 500,000–600,000 Amber to max every weapon.

One multiplier is confirmed: the Big Dipper sword’s Lucky perk raises Amber drops by 1.2× and scales further as the blade is enhanced. It is Deluxe Edition only and cannot be found in the world (see editions).

The Koo 10,000 Amber Claim — What’s Actually True

You’ll see “talk to Koo for up to 10,000 Amber” repeated across a dozen sites. We traced it:

  • One outlet published the 10,000 figure. Every other version is a reprint or a paraphrase — including one site that shares the same author.
  • The only site claiming it’s repeatable admits in the same paragraph that the number is “reported rather than confirmed.”
  • The most systematic facility reference lists Koo’s Cleanse Walker functions as research and rapport only — no Amber.
  • Independently, Fextralife does state that Koo occasionally brings you items and Amber.

Our position: talking to Koo aboard the ship sometimes yields Amber and items, so do it every time you dock. But the specific 10,000 figure is single-sourced, and there is no evidence it can be farmed on repeat. Every other base interaction in this game is throttled to roughly once a day, which makes an unlimited payout unlikely.

What’s Safe to Sell

ItemSell?Why
Ancient BooksYesVendor trash — selling is their only use
Golden EggsYesCannot be incubated; pure money (not the same as a Fertilized Egg)
Spare charms & trinketsYesDuplicates have no use
Low-tier Spirit StonesWith careOnly ones merchants restock — see spirit stones
High-rarity Spirit StonesNoDuplicating one later costs far more than it sells for, and rare stones are hard to refind
Gear you useNoObvious, but easy to do by accident during a bulk sell

Terminology note: several English guides call Spirit Stones “soul stones.” There is no separate Soul Stone item — Amber is the currency, Spirit Stones are the equippable passives.

How Much Amber Do You Actually Need?

Enough that this page matters: weapon and ammunition upgrades cost Amber and nothing else — no crafting materials — and maxing everything lands around 500,000–600,000 Amber. The expensive part isn’t swords: each arrow and bolt type can go to +14 across two upgrade lines, which is what the Munitions Master trophy requires.

Your other Amber sinks, roughly in order of how early they bite:

  • Respec — 100 Amber per invested attribute point (respec guide)
  • Cook books from merchants — 1,950 to 3,510 Amber each (cooking)
  • Crop seedlings — 2,040 to 3,240 Amber
  • Spirit Stone duplication at the workbench
  • Ammunition manuals and crafting materials from Brad

Practical consequence: don’t spread upgrades across gear you won’t keep. Pick the blade whose passive fits your plan, take it to +++, and leave the rest — the weapons guide explains why the passive tier matters more than the raw attack number.

The Trophy-Hunter Save Trick

There is one legitimate, source-backed shortcut, intended for late New Game Plus: save your game, sell everything you own, buy the upgrades needed to pop Munitions Master, then reload your save. The trophy is awarded the instant the upgrade completes, so reloading returns both your items and your Amber. This is for completionists in a hurry — it skips a genuinely long grind.

No in-game money exploit or duplication bug has been documented. Third-party trainers exist on PC but risk save corruption, and we don’t recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to farm Amber in Beast of Reincarnation?

Follow Koo’s nose and open strongboxes — most of them contain Amber, and the code-locked ones pay best. Add the Cliff Facing Tower chest in Chapter 1 (1,500 Amber) and the Flower Field Tower chest in Chapter 3 (1,700 Amber), grab every golden butterfly you pass, and sell your Ancient Books and Golden Eggs when you dock. Killing regular enemies is the least efficient method.

Does talking to Koo really give 10,000 Amber?

Treat this carefully. Exactly one outlet reported the 10,000 figure and every other site repeats it — one of those even admits the number is reported rather than confirmed. Independently, Fextralife states that Koo occasionally brings you items and Amber, so the mechanic is real. Talk to him whenever you are aboard, but do not build a farming route around a repeatable 10,000 payout.

What items are safe to sell?

Ancient Books and Golden Eggs are pure vendor trash and exist to be sold. Spare charms and low-tier Spirit Stones you can rebuy from merchants are also fine. Do not sell high-rarity Spirit Stones — duplicating one at the workbench costs far more Amber than selling it earns.

Do weapon upgrades need materials?

No — weapon and ammunition upgrades cost Amber only, no crafting materials. This is why Amber demand is so high late on: fully upgrading everything, including the +14 arrow and bolt lines for the Munitions Master trophy, runs to roughly 500,000 to 600,000 Amber.

Where do you sell things?

Brad aboard the Cleanse Walker, who is replaced by Bauera from Chapter 10, plus the wandering merchants and Ancient Golem traders in each zone. Interact, choose Trade, then Sell.

Is there a money glitch in Beast of Reincarnation?

No in-game exploit has been documented. There is one legitimate save trick for trophy hunters: in late New Game Plus, save, sell everything you own, buy the upgrades you need to pop Munitions Master, then reload — the trophy stays and your items come back.

How much Amber does a respec cost?

100 Amber per attribute point already invested, so 36 points costs 3,600 Amber. Refunded skill points add nothing to the bill.
